Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and meet our representative. Drive towards Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, complete immigration formalities and drive towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, visit Kharbandi Gompa and stop for photographs at Taktichu Pass. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing of Thimphu. Visit Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Simply Bhutan Museum, and Takin Sanctuary. In the evening, visit the majestic Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and monastic body. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at Thimphu.
After breakfast, drive towards Punakha. En route, visit Lamperi Botanical Park and stop at Dochula Pass (3100 m) to enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and 108 stupas. Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers. Later, walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Overnight stay at Punakha.
After breakfast, drive towards Paro via scenic mountain roads. En route, stop at Chuzom and visit Tamchog Lhakhang. On arrival in Paro, visit Ta Dzong National Museum and Paro Dzong. In the evening, explore Paro town and local markets. Overnight stay at Paro.
After breakfast, proceed for the hike to Taktsang Monastery, one of Bhutan’s most sacred and iconic sites. Trek through pine forests to reach the monastery perched on a cliff face. After completing the hike, visit a local farmhouse and enjoy a traditional hot stone bath. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Paro.
After breakfast, check out and drive back towards Phuentsholing along the Paro River and Chukha region. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure or last minute shopping. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your memorable Bhutan holiday.
