Day Wise Itinerary

Students depart early morning from Delhi by AC coach and gradually transition from city landscapes to mountain terrain. Lunch is taken en route before arriving in New Tehri by evening. After check in at the hotel overlooking Tehri Lake, a detailed program orientation session introduces students to the instructors, safety protocols, learning goals and group expectations. Ice breaking activities help students bond, followed by dinner and overnight rest to prepare for the adventure ahead.

The day begins with early morning yoga and stretching to energize the body and mind. After breakfast, students proceed to the adventure site in Kanatal for a full day of high energy activities including ziplining, valley crossing and Burma Bridge, each designed to build confidence, focus and courage. Group games and leadership challenges are interspersed to strengthen communication and problem solving. After lunch at the campsite, an evening nature walk introduces students to Himalayan forests and ecosystems. The day concludes with a campfire reflection session, followed by dinner and overnight stay in New Tehri.

After breakfast, students visit Tehri Lake and learn about the Tehri Dam, hydropower generation, water conservation and the social impact of large projects. A guided discussion at the viewpoint encourages critical thinking on sustainability and displacement. Post lunch, students participate in hands on outdoor skill workshops including orienteering and navigation, tent pitching and basic wilderness cooking. An evening reflection circle focuses on independence, survival skills and responsible living, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Following an early breakfast, students drive to the base of Surkanda Devi Temple and either trek or take the ropeway to the shrine, learning about Himalayan spirituality, mythology and the cultural significance of mountain temples. After lunch, the journey continues towards Mussoorie with a stop at Dhanaulti Eco Park for a guided ecology walk, where students study high altitude flora, forest conservation and climate impact. By evening, the group arrives in Mussoorie and enjoys free time on Mall Road before dinner and overnight stay.

The day begins with a visit to Sainji Village, where students interact with local residents and learn about sustainable agriculture, community innovation and rural livelihoods. Later visits to Kempty Falls and Company Garden provide opportunities for relaxation and observation of nature based recreation. In the evening, a special reflection session titled “Lessons from the Mountains” allows students to share insights, challenges and personal growth experiences. The day ends with a celebration evening and farewell gathering.

After early breakfast, students check out and begin the return journey to Delhi. During the drive, students journal, reflect and share gratitude moments from the journey. Arrival in Delhi is expected by late evening, marking the end of a memorable and transformative Himalayan learning experience.
